Outdoor Arena

 

Our 60m x 20m all weather outdoor floodlit arena was completed in August 2014. Built by Equestrian Surfaces, it uses their Waxtrack surface to deliver an unparalleled, cushioned riding experience suitable for all disciplines. 

 

Our Full Livery clients have unlimited free use of our arena.

 

The arena is available for hire to non liveries, by the hour during certain periods of the day.

 

Our arena is equipped with a Sonos music sound system that allows you to listen to music or radio stations streamed directly from your iPhone or Android handset straight into the arena. Ideal for practising Dressage to Music.

 

Dressage Mirrors from Biddlecombe Arena Mirrors were installed at the far end of the arena in October 2015.  The mirrors cover the entire 20m back section of the arena and are the same as those used by Charlotte Dujardin, OBE.

 

 

The Waxtrack Surface

Waxtrack has been developed especially to cater for the more discerning rider. The components are a combination of environmentally friendly synthetic fibre materials carefully processed to the correct lengths and mixed with a blend of high grade equestrian sand to guarantee the consistency of the final product.

 

The addition of the wax binding means no irrigation and very minimal maintenance, the Waxtrack surface is ideal for small to medium livery and competition yards as it allows for both the horse and rider to work on top of the surface whilst offering a certain amount of 'give' and spring to ensure the surface doesn't become too hard. 

 

Waxtrack is a multi-purpose surface which has been installed around the world at equestrian centres, equine colleges and private facilities, ranging over numerous disciplines.
