Rug cleaning & re-proofing services

 

We now offer a range of equestrian rug washing and re-proofing services. 

 

Your rugs and equine items are washed based on the manufacturers recommended instructions in a large commercial washing machine that has been designed to provide the best possible results, even on heavily soiled items.  

 

We only use “Nikwax Rug Wash” and Nikwax Rug Proof", which are the leading equine washing and re-proofing liquids.

 

All rugs are air dried either outside or on our heated rug dryer to ensure that rugs keep their natural shape and that no shrinkage occurs. Once a rug is dry, it is carefully folded, wrapped and returned back to you.

 

Please note that we do not undertake rug repairs or dehair rugs.

 

Regular washing of your rugs in Nikwax is a safe way to thoroughly clean and revitalise the insulation, water repellency and breathability of your animal's rugs and coats.

 

The frequency of rug re-proofing depends on the age of your rug. Most manufacturers recommend that re-proofing is undertaken at least once a year.

 

All rugs must be dropped off and collected in person and will normally be ready within 48 hours.
